Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs today announced the launch of the Project on Europe and the Transatlantic Relationship, an effort to help reinvigorate a continental bond that has anchored global order, provided peace and stability, and fueled economic expansion for seven decades.
Drew Guff is Managing Director and Founding Partner of Siguler Guff & Company, LP, a multi-strategy private equity investment firm with over $12.0 billion of assets under management. Siguler Guff manages specialized private equity funds in the areas of U.S. and European real estate, emerging markets, small and mid-size U.S. buyouts and global distressed opportunities. Siguler Guff serves over 450 institutional clients, including corporate and public employee benefit plans, endowments, foundations, sovereign wealth funds and family offices. The firm is headquartered in New York with offices in Boston, London, Moscow, Shanghai, Sao Paulo and Mumbai, employing 165 professionals worldwide.
In the mid-1990’s, Mr. Guff formed Russia Partners Company, L.P., one of the earliest private equity funds to invest in post-Communist Russia. Today Russia Partners actively manages over $1 billion in private equity investments in Russia and the other countries of the former Soviet Union. Mr. Guff is an executive board member of the US- Russia Business Council and is a member of the President’s Advisory Group at the Council on Foreign Relations. He is on the board of the 20-20 Investment Group as well as numerous Siguler Guff portfolio companies. He was the recipient of the 2011 Woodrow Wilson Award for corporate citizenship in recognition of his contributions to the advancement of U.S.-Russia relations.
