Pu Wang is an associate professor at the Institute of Science and Development, Chinese Academy of Sciences

Pu Wang received his Ph.D. degree from Cornell University in 2014, in the field of natural resources. His research is motivated by the great potential of market-based environmental policies in addressing social and environmental challenges associated with climate change. In particular, he is interested in the application of market-based policies in the context of socioeconomic inequalities.

Pu's research focuses on cap-and-trade systems for greenhouse-gas emissions in China and China-U.S. cooperation in climate-change policies.
